All of the staff at Hillyfields are highly trained, experienced and dedicated to providing quality care. We actively provide opportunities for staff to extend their own knowledge and qualifications through further training where applicable, ensuring we are up-to-date with curriculum requirements.
Key Worker System
Each child is allocated to a member of staff whose initial role is to work closely with a new child and his/her family to facilitate a smooth settling-in period. This special person will then have full responsibility for the majority of the child's care at Hillyfields, and will specifically look after their needs. The Key Worker is responsible for maintaining a record-keeping system which clearly highlights each child's achievements (including information from home), as well as providing the direction for individual future learning.
